After 18 games unbeaten, an AFCON bronze and World Cup qualification, South Africa is being asked to believe in Bafana Bafana again. We surveyed 200 South Africans over 18 days to find out how much of that belief is real — and how much is guarded.
Dootsa surveyed 200 registered South African panel members between 27 August and 13 September 2026 (18 calendar days) using the Bafana Bafana Pulse Survey, a 27-question lifestyle instrument covering fandom, coach trust, player preference and tournament confidence. The instrument took a median of 5 minutes to complete. Respondents arrived through organic, referral, direct and survey-join channels — no purchased lists and no paid social advertising — and all figures are reported in aggregate.
