About the role
Strengthen POPIA-aligned controls and information-security assurance as Dootsa scales surveys, field campaigns, and workforce programmes. You turn policy into evidence staff can follow — not shelfware.
What you will do
- Maintain evidence lifecycle, control attestations, and practical policy support for product and ops. - Partner with engineering on secure coding, access governance, and audit readiness. - Support audits, risk reviews, and remediation tracking with clear owners and due dates. - Operationalize training and verification so controls show up in day-to-day work (including Careers Academy and field programmes).
What you need
- 3+ years in compliance, governance, or information security operations. - Familiarity with privacy regulations (POPIA) and common security control frameworks. - Strong documentation discipline and incident/risk analysis capability. - Must pass Dootsa Careers Academy (professional track, 85%+) before CV review.
